Every incoming student has an opportunity to be accommodated in one of the student houses (dormitories). Dormitories are situated in Kortowo (a campus that belongs to the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn).
All student houses have an access to the Internet (remember to take the cable Internet!), as well as a TV room, study room and sport room. Electricity, heating and water fees are included in the rent for the room.
To be accommodated you will need: Identity Card and ID photo. You are also obligated to pay for the first month of your stay and deposit fee in the amount of 300 PLN – you will receive this money back when you move out, unless there are some damages in your room.
How to get a room?
If you are interested in living in one of the dormitories, please write this information in the gap ”additional information” in Application Form and send it together with the rest of your application documents.
A month before the semester starts you will receive an email with the link for personal registration. After you register, you will receive further information about the payment for the guarantee deposit. The guarantee deposit must be paid before your actual arrival to Olsztyn.
How much does it cost?
Room price ranges from 85 EUR – 205 EUR/per month depending on a place and a dormitory, plus the cost of guarantee deposit – 300 PLN (about 70 EUR) in the academic year 2020/21.
ŻAK Foundation of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn governing dormitories at Kortowo Campus offers double rooms for Erasmus+ students.
